“Our daughter Calinda started working with Dale in Grade 8. Now Calinda has verbally committed to play NCAA D1 Beach Volleyball at USC, which is a dream come true! Dale was always very available to answer our questions, and helped us make important decisions along the way. Dale is extremely well connected in the volleyball world, and she was always encouraging and full of enthusiasm! We truly appreciate the help, guidance and integrity Dale showed us throughout the recruitment process.
We fully recommend Six Pack Recruiting Sports.”

“We had heard about Six Pack Recruiting Sports when considering post-secondary options for our older daughter, but did not sign up with Six Pack at the time. We can say now that having Dale on our side listening to and advising us was a great asset when talking to prospective schools!!
Discussing our hopes for the recruiting process with Dale and asking questions was invaluable! Dale guided us and walked us through the verbal offer experience so that it didn't overwhelm us! Thanks Dale!”

It depends on where you want to go and what you play!
Beach volleybal is highly competitive and NCAA coaches typically start identifying athletes earlier, in Grade 9. The sooner you get on coaches' radar, the better. Recruiting goes beyond athletic skill and choosing the right school for you is a huge decision! Starting early will give you a better chance to make the most informed decision.
Absolutely not! It's a great time to start!
It just means you'll be working through the process a little quicker than if you were to start in 15U. Regardless of when you start your recruiting process, our goal at Six Pack is to turn over all stones so that you can make an informed decision in a timely manner. You don't know what you don't know and we are here to help.
The recruiting process varies from athlete to athlete, depending on what you're looking for in a college experience. Generally speaking, you need to get on coaches' radars. Don't fall victim to the belief that you'll get noticed because you're the best on your team. At the end of the day, coaches don't need to leave their bubble. Be proactive in your recruiting.
Who is advocating for you? Do you have someone you can trust to speak to coaches on your behalf? Do they know the recruiting rules and know the coaches? I love when parents are super excited to be a part of their child's recruiting process, but at the end of the day there are some conversations parents and athletes just can't have with coaches. Hiring recruiting support that you can trust to speak on your behalf is an invaluable asset to your recruiting. Work with someone you trust. Recruiting support is more than just a website profile, it's the brains and connections behind the website.
The first step is deciding which sport you want to commit to: is it indoor or beach volleyball? Once you've committed to your sport, you now have your starting point! Next, consider what program you'd want to study in college. If you're unsure, that's okay! Try to consider schools with a variety of programs that you can explore. Ask yourself: what kind of 'campus feel' are you looking for? What do I want my college experience to be like? You don't know what you don't know.
